Keep in mind that while these tricks can help speed up the growth of your hair, it won't help over night and you will have to add it to a daily/nightly routine. Also, many of these are more about the health of your hair (healthy hair grows faster and breaks less) than actually speeding up the growth rate. The maximum rate is about half an inch of hair growth per month, and more often being a quarter of an inch per month. It takes a lot of patience to grow out your hair. Even though it may seem counterproductive, getting frequent hair cuts will actually improve your hair.

It won't make it grow any faster, but it will help to prevent your hair from splitting which will require even more hair to be cut off in order for you to keep your hair health. Just an 8th of an inch every 3-4 months to avoid having to get a lot more cut off later. Making sure your hair is nice and hydrated as well as taking hair vitamins like biotin is very helpful.
