First , you need to give the egg time to sit out on the counter and reach room temperature. This usually takes 10-15 minutes. Once this is complete, place the eggs in a pot of water before it boils. In 8-10 minutes when the water is boiling, turn the temperature down to low or simmer and let them simmer for 11-13 minutes.
You can get the water to boil faster by adding some salt or putting a lid on it. Make sure to remove the lid if you added one during the boiling process. When the time is up, take the eggs from the pot and put them in cold water for 10 to 15 minutes.
