Determining that the client has authorized release of the information-rationale: a nurse must obtain client authorization before sending any confidential information to a nursing home or other facility. a clients name and other protected information should never appear on a fax cover sheet. it isnt necessary to read the information to the client before sending it. a physicians order doesnt give a nurse the right to send confidential information without the clients permission.client needs...Read More
