Meniere’s disease is a disturbance of the inner ear. It may cause severe dizziness, a roaring sound in your ears called tinnitus. It has four main symptoms. These include hearing loss, the pressure in the ear, ringing or roaring in the affected ear, vertigo, or dizziness, and sometimes a feeling of fullness or pressure in the ear.

Over time, the disease may cause vertigo, hearing loss, and tinnitus. Occurrences may be accompanied by a headache and feeling like the world is spinning. Fluid build-up in the ear may be the primary cause.
