Vanessa Redgrave is an actress who has been active since the late 1950s. She is still considered acting today. However, Redgrave has a lot of family members in the acting industry. Her sister was an actress along with her brother and daughter. However, they passed away. Her other daughter, Joely Richardson and son Carlo Gabriel Nero, as well as her granddaughter and niece, are also in the industry.

Her sister, Lynn Redgrave died in 2010, and both she and Vanessa were both nominated for best actress during the Oscars in 1967. However, Elizabeth Taylor won the award for best actress as Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf. The others that were nominated for best actress were Anouk Aimee in A Man and A woman and Ida Kaminska.
