Tyson Beckford began his career as a model for Ralph Lauren Polo but then moved into acting. He is actually considered to be a supermodel and made a lot of money from modeling and also acting. A magazine editor called The Source founded him.

Jeff Jones is the one from this magazine that found Beckford. In 1995, he won the title of Man of the Year. He has a son. He got involved in a car accident several years ago but had a few injuries. He recovered from his accident. Some of the movies that he has acted in include Zoolander, Biker Boyz, Into the Blue, Chocolate City, and Supermodel. He has also worked on television shows and been a part of the music video as well.
