Banana bread is perhaps the easiest thing you can bake. All you need to have are the following ingredients: 1 ¾ of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1 stick of unsalted butter at room temperature, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of salt, 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons of whole milk, ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract, and lightly mashed bananas (for this recipe and the given measurements, you would need to use 4 ripe bananas). Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and while waiting, grease your loaf pan and line its bottom with parchment paper. Cream together the butter and sugar and then combine the eggs. Once mixed, add the lightly mashed bananas and the vanilla extract, and mix until combined.

Then, add the flour, baking powder and soda, and salt. Mix all together but make sure not to overmix as it can make the finished product tough. Pour in the milk while you are mixing the dry ingredients. Then, pour the batter into the load pan and bake for 1 hour. Once done, make sure to cool the banana bread for at least 20 minutes before serving.
