There are plenty of ways to relieve stress. One scientifically-proven way has been to sing for about ten minutes. So, belt out in your room on a night you feel down and stressed out, or listen to music and hum as you do homework or clean. Some people feel better after they’ve done some exercise, and others feel better after they watch a movie. If the stress is anxiety related, you should try watching a movie you know the plot to well; this familiarity and knowing how it ends can help calm your anxiety, and therefore reduce your stress.
Other options to reduce stress include a massage, a long bath, a warm shower, reading a book, and even writing in a journal.
