First collect your ingredients to make pancakes. You will just need eggs, flour and a little milk. You make a batter with these, then put butter in your frying pan and make it hot but not boiling, make sure the butter covers the base of the pan.

Take a large spoonful of batter and drop into the fat, using a wooden spatula to shape it into a rough circle, meanwhile adding further spoonfuls so that you have several pancakes cooking at the same time. Once the mixture is firm, flip it over with the spatula. Remove onto a plate as soon as lightly browned and firm.

It is pretty simple to make pancakes from scratch. You only need a few ingredients to make them. First of all you will need to gather your ingredients list. The ingredients you will need are flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Sift together all these dry ingredients and then add milk, egg, and melted butter to the mix. Mix all items together until you have a smooth batter. Heat up a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan. A good rule of thumb to know if the pan is ready is to drop just a drop of water onto it. If the water sizzles and evaporates quickly the oiled pan is ready.

Spoonm out some mix to desired size and cook on one side until there are visable bubbles on the top of the pancake. At this point flip it over. When the pancake is done on both sides take it off the griddle or pan and enjoy.
