Everyone knows that the heart pumps blood to the rest of the body. However, there are steps that allows the blood to follow a certain path. First, the blood comes into the right atrium of the heart. It comes from the superior and inferior venae cavae. Then it goes into the tricuspid vale and then to the right ventricle.

Then it flows through the pulmonary semilunar valves and into the pulmonary trunk. It flows into the lungs. Then it moves it is oxygenated and flows back to the heart. It flows to the heart in the veins. Here it flows into the left atrium and then to the left ventricle. Finally, it moves into the aorta before it flows to the rest of the body.
