Cilantro is an herb used to garnish a certain dish. It is different with coriander although both share common names. Cilantro refers to the coriander leaves while coriander refers to the dried seeds from the cilantro. Cilantro is placed on the dish before it is served while coriander is often cooked together with the other ingredients. Although there is no specific recipe which requires cilantro, some people still prefer to add this to their own dish to add a certain flavor.

Here are some of the recipes which call for the use of cilantro: Seared sea scallops with cilantro, sirloin noodle bowl, lamb pops with cilantro chimichurri, nacho hot dogs, cilantro lime shrimp, chicken alfredo, chicken enchiladas with salsa Verde, and cilantro pesto.
