Are herb plants perennials?

Not all herb plants are perennials. This is because it is specifically stated if a plant is a perennial plant or not (which means that it can live for more than two years). However, please note that perennial herb plants grow and bloom during spring and summer. They then wither every fall and winter and then will grow and bloom again once spring comes in.

Here are a few perennial herb plants which you can plant and grow in your garden: Echinacea or purple coneflower which can grow in any soil situation, sage which can even survive after winter, lavender is also perennial but make sure that you give it plenty of drainage or else it will wither, thyme which can grow in any garden and can also grow in areas where other plants can’t survive, and mint which spread easily across your garden.
