The answer to the question “Why are fruit flies bad?” is because of the following reasons: 1) Their presence indicates a dirty home, area, building, or surface, 2) They infest homes where fermenting fruits are normally found, 3) They reproduce quickly, thus making it hard for human beings to easily get read of them and 4) They make our fruits or food easily to decay. Fruit flies are small insects commonly found feeding on fruits and other food and they fall under two groups: Drosophilidae or Tephritidae – both of which are considered as fruit flies or vinegar flies.

If you are thinking of getting rid of fruit flies and you don’t want to consult a professional, you can start by grabbing an empty bottle and filling it up halfway with apple cider vinegar, honey and dish detergent. Wait for around 24 hours and they’ll be trapped in there.
