Ground Disturbance is any kind of earth activity that occurs due to construction work or any operational work. Any activity that disturbs ground below than 300 mm is deemed to be a ground disturbance. The activities such as subsoiling, quarrying, tree planting, trenching, excavating, auguring, tunneling, ditching, etc. Hazards such asPipeline leaks, local wildfires, etc. are the consequences of ground disturbance. This activity can be prevented by following programs and actions :

  • Public Awareness
  • Crossing
  • Hazard management
  • Performance monitoring
  • Organizational Structures

Damage prevention is a shared responsibility so we should all take credit in that and work accordingly.
