The correct answer to this question is B. The sapcontrol -nr -function StartSystem command can be used to bring a scale-out SAP HANA database to a fully operational state. SAPControl can be used to start or stop all hosts in a scaled-out SAP HANA system from the command line.

In order to start the system, you would use the command, /usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/sapcontrol -nr -function StartSystem HDB. To stop the system, the command you would use is /usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/sapcontrol -nr -function StopSystem HDB.

The command for the current status of all hosts in the system would be /usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/sapcontrol -nr -function GetSystemInstanceList. These commands will only start or stop the local host.
