The most pain from food poisoning typically comes from the abdomen or abdominal area. Cramps are a common side effect of many different kinds of food poisoning, including salmonella, E. Coli, and staphylococcus. The various kinds of food poisoning can come from undercooked or raw eggs (like cookie dough) and chicken that wasn’t cooked properly.

If anyone is already infected and the bathroom and other surfaces they’ve touched aren’t cleansed properly, the bacteria can live on those surfaces and be transferred back to the food, and spread.
This is typically a mild symptom and could stem from the fact that most common food poisonings can lead to vomiting and diarrhea. Too much diarrhea and time on the toilet can make you cramp up, and it can hurt.
