Men lose their hair because of hormones. It is true that men who begin to lose their hair also sometimes lose their self-esteem, but this should not always the case. There is nothing wrong with you, because growing bald is part of the aging process. Almost half of all men lose their hair and some who don’t are one of the lucky ones.

A study claims that the major factor in hair loss is the testosterone, the principal sex hormone of men. The more testosterone you have, the less chance you will likely lose your hair. However, when the enzymes start to convert the testosterone into dihydrotestosterone, a hormone which is one of the things that make hair shorter and thinner, then you will eventually start to lose your hair.
