The correct answer is option-B
The distance of the basket from the three-point line are different in various competition level. The 3 point is an important shot if you want to get ahead with the score board.

Basketball was invented by Naismith’s in the 1891 but the three-point line was not in his game plan. The three-point line was first tested in a game between Columbia and Fordham in 1945 at collegiate level with a 21-foot line.

Suggestions were made during games like the game between St. Francis and Siena where there was increase in foot line to 23-foot line in 1958.

A good way to get a three pointer is to follow the following steps.

1. Perfect your position.
2. Hold your ball above your head with your elbow at a 90-degree angle.
3. Lastly, take your shot.

You don't get rewarded three points for a shot ON the three point line... You have to be behind the three point line...
