Bdollar.-most historic districts really do have great trees; however, what buyers may most pleased about is that they often have more choices and typically get more house per dollar in a historic district than a new development. some fear the maintenance issues with old buildings; however, all buildings require maintenance, no matter their age. maintenance free materials and the maintenenace-free house are a myth. in general, older buildings were constructed to last much longer than new buildings and so if properly maintained will require less money and headache to keep up then a new house constructed of inferior materials.
