What happens if the concentration of glucose in the water outside of a cell is higher than the concentration inside?

There is less glucose in the cell than outside of it, so the correct answer is water will tend to leave the cell by osmosis.

The cell is aiming for equilibrium with its outside surroundings on most levels, so water will leave the cell to dilute the solution outside and keep the glucose levels about equal.

Water will tend to enter the cell by osmosis

If there is a high concentration of glucose inside the cell that will draw more water into the cell in an attempt to dillute the concentration inside the cell and move towards equilibrium
