A distress student arrives asking to speak with their SSP/BOT (Back on Track) advisor. They do not have an appointment. What should you do?
A. Jabber the advisor and let them know about the situation, and have the Advisor confirm whether or not s/he can see the student. B. Ask the student to book an appointment online. C. B & c-if a distressed student is at the front desk demanding to see his/her assigned bot/ssp advisor, the ambassador must ask whether or not the student has made prior arrangements with the advisor. if not, they must book an appointment online. if the student is still demanding to see the advisor immediately and cant wait, the ambassador should then jabber steve (manager, bot) or michelle (program assistant, bot). this way, the ambassador will not need to deal with the distressed student directly.
