If you ever need to buy a car in the near future, then you may look at a variety of different types of cars. Plus, you may also be looking at the companies and brands that have been built for years. Oldsmobile is one of the oldest car companies today. It was founded in 1897 and so it is over 100 years old. It was founded by Ransom Olds and he named the company after himself. Its headquarters is located in Michigan.

Many car companies were founded at that time when the Oldsmobile company was formed, but many of these companies folded because most likely they were trouble making money. Therefore, the first automobile company to celebrate one hundred years of business is the Oldsmobile company.
