Unilever is an Anglo-Dutch multinational consumer good company with its Headquarters in London, United Kingdom and Rotterdam, Netherlands. The company has over 400 brands with their products in most nations. This company was founded by the merger of 2 companies, Lever Brothers (British Soapmaker) and Margarine Unie (Dutch margarine producer) in September 1929.
The brands and their products are organized into four categories. These categories include Food, refreshment, Homecare, Beauty/Personal care. Unilever caters to consumers across Africa, Asia, Europe and America, and the Middle East area. Axe, Knorr, Surf, LUX, Sunsilk, and Lipton are some of the subsidiaries of Unilever, but Ariel, Pampers, Pantene and Vicks are not part of the list of subsidiaries owned by Unilever.

It is Europe’s seventh most valuable company. It is one of the oldest multi-national companies. Its products are available in around 190 countries.

Unilever is organized into three main divisions: Foods, Refreshment, Homecare and Personal care. It has research and development facilities in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, China, India, and the United States. Some of its subsidiaries include Dove, Lipton, Sunsilk, Ben and Jerry’s, Dollar Shave Club, Hellman’s. Slim Fast, and Colgate-Palmolive.

The company was founded in 1930 through the merging of the Unie (margarine makers) and Lever Brothers (soap producer) and is co-headquartered in London, United Kingdom and Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Its products, which are used by about 2.5 billion people daily, cut across food and drink, home Care and personal care. Unilever operates a host of subsidiaries in Africa, the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. Some of its subsidiaries include Lipton, Brooke Bond, Chesebrough-Ponds, Best Foods, Ben & Jerry's, Alberto-Culver, and Dollar Shave Club.
