Transmission Control Protocol is one of the main conventions of the Internet. It gives a benefit at a high level between an application program and the Internet. TCP allows for host-to-host interaction at the Transport Layer of the internet. Any application does not have to know the specific instruments for sending information by means of a connection to another host. At the transport layer, the protocol handles all handshaking and transmission subtle elements.

It presents an abstraction of the connectivity to the application. SYN groups the numbers. When the initial packet that is delivered from one side should include this flat set. Some of the other flags may alter in their meaning due to the flag. Some can only do what they are supposed to do when it is set.
