Digital cameras do not use film. A digital camera is similar to a standard film camera in many aspects. Both of them run on batteries, have a shutter to capture pictures, and employ lenses for a better resolution. However, a digital camera does not use film. Instead, it captures and stores its pictures either on the camera memory, or simply on a SD card that you can insert into the camera.

In order to use the pictures, you require a USB cable that you can attach to your camera to connect it to a computer. This will allow you to transfer all your photos and save them on your device. On the other hand, you can simply hand over the SD card to a printing service who will then develop and print the photos for you.
