The correct answer to this question is Wilfred Owen. This poem is also known as Dulce et Decorum est Pro Patria. It was written and published around World War 1. Owen uses this poem to showcase the horrors that occur during war. He also uses the poem as a personal slight towards other poets at the time who encouraged the men to go off to war.

One of those poets was Jessie Pope, who wrote Who's For The Game in support of the war. Pro Patria has three stanzas and in those three stanzas, their is a change in the men who are serving, which reflects how solders are in real life.
