Sound energy is created when an object vibrates. The sound waves may cause vibrations everywhere. For example, if there is a sound that is made underwater, it will not be surprising if the waves would start to show some pressure.

There are times when the sound would take some time before reaching a certain location. It would depend on the things that it will pass through. The vibrations that are caused by sound can be considered as the reason why the sound is considered to be a form of energy. There are other forms of energy that can be found no matter where you are.
