The answer is letter B. Theda Bara was the one who was called The Vamp. Born Theodosia Burr Goodman on July 29, 1885, she started acting in 1908 through the Broadway play entitled The Devil. She then went on to star on other films such as The Stain in 1914, A Fool There Was, The Kreutzer Sonata, The Celemenceau Case, The Devil’s Daughter, The Two Orphans, Sin, Carmen, The Galley Slave and Destruction in 1915 and The Serpent in 1916.
She was considered as one of the most popular actresses of the silent era and also starred in one of her biggest film in 1917 entitled Cleopatra. Being a sex symbol, she was given the name The Vamp which was short for vampire. Her starred in her last film in 1926 entitled 45 Minutes from Hollywood.
