The Druids were a group of the Celtic clan. They were quite religious. It was believed that they could not write since there weren’t any written records of their history. However, Druids could read and write, but did not record their history. It is believed that the Druids performed human sacrifices to their gods. There is an association between Julius Caesar and the Druids.

Druids would not fight during military battles in Ireland. They were actually considered outcasts of the rest of the Irish society. Some of the leaders would go to the Druids for advice. Many of the sacrifices were by those who were very sick. The Druids and the way they moved in their culture led to the Irish dances.
