The nine fields of knowledge for an architect’s education are
1. Law
2. Geometry
3. Drawing
4. Music
5. Astronomy
6. Philosophy
7. History
8. General Education
9. Medicine
While many people think that the road to becoming an architect is simple, there is so much information that the student must study to be able to obtain his license. When designing a building, it doesn’t just come down to how the building looks, but making sure it is structurally sound and will be able to stand. Learning from past architects mistakes is also an important part of the learning curve.
