Mosquitoes are insects that fly and bite humans and animals in order to acquire the blood. Their mouth looks like a needle but it is actually like a tube. The mosquito injects its mouth into the human’s skin and drinks the blood. This leaves behind a raised red bump that itches. The bump remains on a human’s skin for a few days before going away. There are four stages to the mosquito’s life.
The first stage is the egg stage. While in this stage, the mosquito remains in the water. Then the mosquito goes through the larvae stage. This stage actually have four stages to it. Within these stages, the mosquito molts and releases its skin in order to grow a new one. The last two stages include pupa and adult.
