The answer to the question about how often a Betta fish should be fed is letter D or once a day or less – skipping a day twice a week is OK. A Betta fish is also known as Betta splendors and Siamese fighting fish. They can grow up to 2.6 inches in length and are known for their brilliant colors and large flowing fins. However, it is worthy to note that a male Betta fish and a female Betta fish differ in terms of their appearance, size and length with the latter exhibiting a shorter flowing fins, smaller size and smaller length.

In terms of their diet, a Betta fish only needs to be fed once a day. Although feeding them twice a day is also okay, but fish lovers would normally tell you that once a day or less is just about right. You can also skip feeding them a day every two weeks to avoid getting them bloated or constipated.
