The Brachiosaurus was the largest known dinosaur to have existed. Thankfully for the welfare of other dinosaurs this dinosaur was an herbivore meaning it only ate plants. So even though it was the largest known dinosaur it was not the most dangerous. The average weight of the Brachiosaurus has been estimated several times over this years as more information has been discovered about the dinosaur. The weight estimation has steadily increased as new developments have arisen.

The last estimated average weight of the Brachiosaurus was a staggering 37.5 tons. The length of the Brachiosaurus is estimated to have been 85 feet long. This massive dinosaur carried most of its weight in its large body and most of its length in its very long neck.
