Some dinosaurs lived on a diet consisting solely of plant matter, these dinosaurs would be referred to as herbivores. Others lived on a diet of meat and are referred to as carnivores. Others still ate both meat and plants much like many of us do as humans and just as us humans are classically referred to as omnivores, so were dinosaurs that ate meat and plants.
