It is well-known that there are 15 different dinosaur types that are being researched. There are some people who are not sure if dinosaurs should be classified into reptiles or not. Should they still be alive today, they may be in a classification of their own. They have some characteristics of reptiles but they are still closely related to birds.

Some dinosaurs were cold-blooded especially the smaller ones but the bigger ones are considered to be warm-blooded because they need to have higher body temperatures in order to survive. Take note that the thousands of dinosaur species can be classified into the 15 main dinosaur types of easy classification.
