What happens to a junction object record when either associated master record is deleted? A junction object has two Master-Detail relationships.Â
A. The record is deleted and placed in the recycle bin. B. The master record can’t be deleted if it has a child record. C. The look-up field on the junction object record is cleared. D. The record is permanently deleted and can’t be restored.
In the master-detail relationship, the detail record always carries a master record. Therefore, lookup fields in a master record are always required, so if you want to make an optional input field, apply the lookup relationship. Usually, object relationships in salesforce make one too many links. When you create an object to load two kinds of data, often you create two separate objects and depending on the situation, it is better to create two different record types within the one object.
Usually, when a master record is deleted, detail record will be erased. One object can only have two master-detail relationships. If we eliminate record A, the first master-detail relationship is always primary. The child record C will be deleted. If we delete record B then record, C will be erased.
