The center of the Earth is called inner core. Before we delve into that, our planet Earth is composed of the crust and the mantle – both of which are filled or composed with silicate minerals or rocks. What comes next is the outer core which is composed of liquid metal and has a depth somewhere between 2,900 to 5,100 kilometers.

What next, which is considered as the center of the Earth, is the solid inner core which has a depth of about 5,100 to 6,400 kilometers. If you want to know how deep the inner core is, you can check the deepest hole human have created on the surface of the Earth which is called the Kola Superdeep Borehole which is located in the Russian Kola Peninsula and only has a depth of 12 kilometers.
