The right order for these three orders is as follows: Core, Semi-Periphery and Periphery. These three orders are found and discussed in world-systems theory wherein it monitors the inter-regional and transnational division of labor among the countries in the world. The theory was developed by Immanuel Wallerstein in early 1970s wherein he traced the rise of the capitalist economy and its influence in developing and spreading industrialization across the globe. Core countries are the countries which are highly industrialized. These countries include countries such as Australia, Finland, Japan, Spain, Sweden, New Zealand, Germany, Canady, United Kingdom and the United States.

Semi-periphery countries are also industrialized countries positioned between the core and periphery countries. Here are a few semi-periphery countries: Mexico, Panama, South Africa and Uruguay. Periphery countries are countries which are less developed and receive only a small share of global wealth. Periphery countries include countries such as Colombia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Poland, Romania, Turkey and Vietnam.
