The answer is letter C. Burning fossil fuels such as natural gas, oil, coal and gasoline is one of the major forms of polluting the air. Air quality refers to the degree in which the air is considered to be free from pollution. However, due to the increasing rate of burning fossil fuels, it emits emissions of carbon dioxide and contributes to the alarming degree of global warming because when fossil fuels are burned, unwanted gases or carbon emissions enter the atmosphere and these unwanted gases trap the Sun’s energy in the atmosphere.

Mongolia is the country on Earth with the highest pollution index with 94.01. It is followed by Myanmar, Bangladesh, Egypt and Vietnam with 93.93, 90.0, 89.05 and 86.96 pollution indexes respectively.
