China is known for having pandas. The big black and white bears can be seen in China as well as in zoos throughout the world. Pandas are primarily located in areas where pandas can eat their favorite food in their diet which bamboo. Pandas also eat berries and leaves too. However, pandas are usually not found in the very northern part of China.

There are different types of pandas including the giant panda and red panda. Some pandas live in mountainous regions. These furry animals are usually large around five feet tall. They usually weigh several hundred pounds. Compared to other bears, pandas look different. They are known to have black circles around their eyes and black is around other parts of their bodies.
