Out of all the given choices, the continent which lies to the East of Australia is Africa. Although New Zealand lies east of Australia, it is not a continent but rather a country. However, if we are going to follow the discovery of a new continent, we may answer “Zealandia”. For the purpose of this question, however, the answer is letter A or Africa.

The African continent covers an area of more or less than 30 billion square kilometers with a total population of more than 1 billion people. Some of the countries in Africa include the following: Algeria, Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Morocco, Namibia, Niger, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
