Thames River flows through the city of London. According to several sources, Thames River carries approximately 300,000 tons of sediment from the North Sea. It is the longest river located entirely in England and the second longest in the United Kingdom. It has a length of 346 kilometers and its source is located in Thames Head, UK. It flows through different counties such as Oxfordshire County, Berkshire County, Gloucestershire County, Surrey County, Essex County, Wiltshire County and Kent County. Aside from these counties, Thames River also flows through different cities and towns such as Oxford, Maidenhead, Dartford, London, Windsow, Wallingford, Abingdon and Southend.

Thames River is also home for different crossings such as the London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, Chelsea Bridge, Putney Bridge, Staines Bridge, Marlow Bridge, Abingdon Bridge, Newbridge, and Midland and South Western Junction Railway Bridge.
