Narmer settled in Memphis found at the center of Egypt. Memphis, Egypt is located at the entrance of the Nile River Valley and it served as the capital of ancient Egypt. According to studies, Memphis Egypt was founded by Horus Narmer, the first king of Egypt and also the last king of the Predynastic Period, who unified the country into a one single and peaceful kingdom during the Early Dynastic Period. Before he ruled.

It was cited by several sources that Egypt used to be divided into two regions namely: Lower Egypt and Upper Egypt. During Narmer’s reign, religion flourished, urban city life started to grow, new astronomical instruments were developed and he also developed significant trade with other neighboring countries.
