North America has several countries and dependent territories. Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Saint Lucia and the United States of America are among North American countries while Aruba, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman, Curacao, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, Saba and US Virgin Islands are among the North American territories.

However, in terms of these given countries, three of the largest countries in North America are: Canada which has a land area of 9,984,670 square kilometers and a total population of more than 35 million people, United States of America which has a land area of 3,796,742 square kilometers and a population of more than 300 million people and Mexico with a population of more than 121 million people.
