Illinois which became part of the United States on December 03, 1818 has a population of more than 12 million and covers an area of 149,995 square kilometers, Arkansas which became part of the United States on June 15, 1836 a population of more than 2 million and covers an area of 137,732 square kilometers and Massachusetts which became part of the United States on February 06, 1788 has a total population of more than 6 million and covers an area of 27,336 square kilometers.
