A cougar can jump an impressive eighteen feet. While this is not as spectacular as the flea’s ability to jump, this jump is something that allows the cougar to make a lot of trouble for humans. They can jump fences that humans have trouble climbing, let alone jumping over. This even allows a cougar to go after humans in usual means, but making oneself bigger will cause the cougar to stand down.
The cougar’s jump means that, if a cougar ever wanted to, it could climb a tree and take refuge there. The eighteen foot jump of a cougar makes it one of the farthest-jumping mammals on the planet. It’s quite a feat to jump so far, and to be able to do it in a single bound.
