According to the study of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, smoking is still the leading cause of preventable disease and death in the whole world and is responsible for about one in every five deaths. It is a major contributing factor in four out of the five leading causes of death in the world such as lung disease, heart disease, cancer, and stroke.
It causes more deaths each year than human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), alcohol use, illegal drug use, and motor vehicular accidents combined, and the estimated death caused by smoking is more than 480,000 each year and it will continue on growing in the next years if people do not change their lifestyle choices or limit the consumption of tobacco.
