Which of the following sentence is written correctly?

The correct answer to this question is A, Many people pay their taxes to not get in trouble with the government. The answers B, Many people pay their taxes in order not getting in trouble with the government and C. Many people pay their taxes in order not to get in trouble with the government are miswritten.

For me, It was easier to read the questions aloud to answer the question. Reading each response aloud allowed me to hear which sentence was grammatically correct sounding and which ones were not. This type of question would be found on an English test.
