Email is the correct answer to this question. Experts estimate that email is the reason for approximately 94% of the malware that is spread throughout the world. Email is also a top way in which hackers transfer viruses. This is normally done through phishing emails. Hackers do this by creating phishing emails.

These emails normally contain a file that is malicious. It will force the receiver of the email to open a link, such as an attachment like a word document, image, PDF, or a zip file. Once the receiver opens the document, the hacker will use macros in the file to continue hacking and implementing a virus.

The most common delivery method for viruses is through email. Email is responsible for the delivery of about 94% of top malware in the world, of which viruses are part of. Also, the most common medium through which hackers also transfer viruses is through phishing emails.

These hackers carefully craft phishing emails which contain malicious file by causing people to click on a link or open an attachment. Such a file can be seen in different formats, which include zip file, JavaScript, PDF, or word document. The hackers usually trick users into enabling macros in the case of the word document, after the user has opened the document.

This will give permission to the hacker to run a script, which executes a dangerous executable file (EXE) after downloading it from an external web server. When a person can just naively open an attachment present in the phishing email, the whole organization will most likely be infected.

The correct answer to this question is email. Emails are electronic messages sent from one computer user to other recipients. They are sent through a network. This is the most common way viruses are transmitted. There are spoof emails.

These emails are made to look real, but contain a link or attatchment, which has a virus on it. If the attatchment or link is clicked, the virus will then go onto the computer. Email viruses can also be sent through ransomware, in which the victims data is encrypted and a fee is demanded for it to be restored.
