Sugar (Hard) Maple

All maple trees (Acer spp.) produce samaras as a seed source. The samaras light weight and winged structure allow seed to effectively travel and reproduce far from the parent tree. Ash trees (Fraxinus. spp) also produce samaras as a seed source.
